CAN YOU HEAR US NOW? GOOD

The following is from Dr. Monique Ruberu. Hours are still needed to be filled. Visit 40daysforlife.com.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

[We have] such an awesome story to share…at 777 the pro-abortion escorts often play music to drown us out as we try to speak to the moms going in. That music is often demonic, or crude…rarely tolerable and nice… So by the grace of God working through a donor, we purchased a nice speaker and mic so we could share Christian music and speak to the moms over their noise.

I knew the moms on the sidewalk could hear us, but Marlene, Pat, and I prayed that the moms could hear us inside as well… well today the officer told us that Lynn (elderly pro-abortion escort) was complaining about the loudness of our music => the officer pointed out that the only reason we have music playing is that they started playing music and he had observed the interaction for the past few months… then she said – “Yes but their music is disturbing them INSIDE”

SO PRAISE GOD!!! The moms can HEAR US INSIDE!!! – I told the officer I’d be happy to stop our music if they do t play music… I’ll just use it to talk on my mic – directly to the women inside 🙂

Guys when we show up to do this work for God it is very important that we first feed our souls in preparation for this work… please do spend time daily in mass, in prayer, in scripture, in meditation on Jesus, in adoration… in the Word of God especially …the closer you allow yourself to get to Him… the more you allow Him to fill you…the better your work will be.

OPEN LETTER TO PARISH PRIESTS: BE BOLD

A local pro-lifer has been a format that all pro-lifers are encouraged to send to their pastors. The time for passiveness is over. We need more heroic priests who are willing to preach the truth from the pulpit without sugarcoating it.

Thank you for your priesthood. I encourage you to read the article below and pray and act.

I realize the USCCB writes and emails those of us who subscribe to great material on pro-life with action items like prayer and more.

I ask you to do more. Please speak from the pulpit often against the atrocity of abortion. Please speak this not only during weekday daily mass but during all Sunday liturgy.

Are you aware that now somewhere in the state of New Mexico has a new satanic Temple with an abortion facility in it?

I will go as far as to say our current President of the USA who is obviously all for proclaiming the destruction of innocent human life in the womb is then a Satanist whether he realizes it or not. Furthermore, he proclaims to be a good and practicing Catholic. He needs to be denounced and informed he has excommunicated himself from the Church by his actions and words.

I am personal friends with and a ministry partner to Mark Houck and the Catholic Vote chapter leader of SWFL.

Your flock needs to hear from you on this. I ask you to reach out to Mark Houck to thank him. Mark is a hero. I ask you to speak publicly from the pulpit denouncing our current political administration’s weaponization in unjustly abusing great Catholic men and pro-life leaders like Mark Houck with intimidation tactics and more. Wasting taxpayer dollars for ridiculous arrests like this.

I ask you to proclaim from the pulpit that the Church has had enough and that abortion is a grave sin and to explain we now have more pregnancy centers of life rather than abortion centers of death and to find one if in need. I ask you to explain that if anyone has been involved in abortion to seek forgiveness in the sacrament of confession and healing in Rachel’s vineyard.

We need to hear all this often and publicly from priests and bishops.

The time has come and it’s now!

I pray for you daily and ask you please pray for me.

Please ask your congregations to no longer give any business to CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid and any pharmacy or organization that dispenses abortion pills or that supports abortion.

I have copied in my pro-life friends and asked you to write a similar message as this to all your clergy members.

We Will Rise Again

After this week’s disappointing election results, I’m sure many of you are as bummed out as I am.  Living in Pennsylvania I am especially disappointed, and I can’t imagine so many people from my state voting for candidates who want to impose their immorality and perversions on the rest of us.  How can they vote for a man who can’t put a coherent sentence together? How can so many people vote to keep their so-called ‘right’ to kill their unborn children?? How can they think it’s okay to mutilate and sterilize their children or someone else’s child because ‘they’ have determined that child should be another sex?  I just can’t get my head around this kind of thinking.

Since election day a hymn has been going through my head that I know most have sung or at least heard. The hymn is ‘We Will Rise Again’ by David Haas.  I’m posting the refrain below as I think we all need to remember these words and keep in mind that God is in charge.  We just need to keep doing what we have been doing to stop the insanity in our nation, and trust that God will continue to be our strength, and one day, hopefully in the near future, we will rise again.

The children of the United States of America, especially the unborn are depending on us.

Refrain:

We will run and not grow weary,

for our God will be our strength,

and we will fly like the eagle,

we will rise again.

You can find the whole song at this website:  https://www.christian-songlyrics.net/2016/10/we-will-rise-again-lyrics-david-haas.html

Blessings and Surprises

Monique Ruberu offered a reflection on her recent experience outside of the Philadelphia Women’s Center on August 27th.

Last Saturday our friends at 777 appletree took a lot of trouble to collect dog feces, transport it in a car and bring it to 777 where they graciously littered it over the sidewalk where we pray.

So what did we do? We swept it away and continued praying… and then I sprinkled exorcised blessed salt all over the entire street and both sidewalks including the entryway to the abortion center =) God always wins =)

When we continue to show up with love despite the persecution, despite the anger and upset, God continues to shine through us… Babies continue to have a glimmer of hope for survival.  Their precious lives are honored by someone. We can close our eyes knowing that we tried.

Pat sent me the message that a few days ago there was a turnaround at 12th and locust – Such a blessing!

Pray that our continued presence helps to turn the hearts and minds of these moms toward our sweet Jesus. May they feel His love and kindness.

SEX STRIKE? MORE LIKE A RETURN TO PURE LOVE. THANKS, ABORTION ACTIVISTS

“Sexuality affects all aspects of the human person in the unity of his body and soul. It especially
concerns affectivity, the capacity to love and to procreate, and in a more general way the aptitude for
forming bonds of communion with others.
” CCC 2332

It has been one week since the Roe v Wade decision was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court. No doubt it has sent shockwaves across the country let alone the world.

In the aftermath of the ruling, abortion activists are calling for a “Sex Strike”.

What the abortion activists are calling for is stopping the root cause of abortion. When the sexual revolution came to the scene in the 1960s, it brought about sexual promiscuity and even “no strings attached” casual hookups that left men and women feeling empty. This “no strings attached” approach left men off the hook for the possibility of being a parent. In turn, it opened the door to the root cause of abortion, the misuse of sex.

Sex is a gift from God. Its purpose is to create life between a man and a woman. Unfortunately, it has been misused for one’s gratification. It is hysterical that the pro-abortion activists want to stop hooking up with random men or women.

“It is not weakness to desire love. The weakness is when we steel for less than love.” Crystalina Evert

Let’s welcome this surprising but much-needed challenge to defeat abortion at its core root.

Chastity includes an apprenticeship in self-mastery which is training in human freedom. The
alternative is clear: either man governs his passions and finds peace, or he lets himself be dominated
by them and becomes unhappy. “Man’s dignity, therefore, requires him to act out of conscious and
free choice, as moved and drawn in a personal way from within, and not by blind impulses in himself
or by mere external constraint. Man gains such dignity when ridding himself of all slavery to the
passions, he presses forward to his goal by freely choosing what is good and, by his diligence and
skill, effectively secures for himself the means suited to this end
.” CCC 2339

Thank you, pro-abortion activists!

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

ROE AND CASEY DECISIONS OVERTURNED; POST-ROE WORK HAS BEGUN

I know in the distance that 63 million unborn children denied the right to life are singing and leaping in rejoicing over the fact that Divine Providence was felt at the Supreme Court less than 50 years following the barbaric overreach through Roe V Wade. No golden jubilee for Roe come January 2023!

Today, on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, the Supreme Court ruled that the constitution does not guarantee abortion and Roe was unjust.

Surprisingly, the court ruling was 6-3 to overturn the original ruling from seven men (yes, men can and should have an opinion on abortion). The following ruled for the overturn Roberts, Coney-Barrett, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Alito, and Thomas. the rest of the judges ruled for the original to be upheld.

“Abortion presents a profound moral question. The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that authority. We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives,” Alito wrote.

Now, that the overreach of abortion is back in the states, we have much work to do to build a culture of life. 24 out of 50 have already banned abortion. We must continue the work. We have the tools. It is now time to finish the job.

CALL TO ACTION

This is not the time to sit on the thumbs after the monumental victory. We must continue to defend life until everyone understands the fact that abortion is unthinkable. The pro-aborts, since the leak on May 1st, have attacked churches, declared open season on pro-lifers, and even pregnancy centers. They intend to do more regardless of today’s decision. We must double our efforts now more than ever

Here are things you can do:

  1. Continue being present in front of abortion facilities in your communities
  2. Volunteer to protect pregnancy resource centers as pro-aborts are planning to launch a summer of rage following the imminent ruling
  3. Continue to pray for the conversion of heart and healing across our land
  4. Protect your churches from potential attacks
  5. Persuade lawmakers to protect life from womb to tomb
  6. Host Holy Hour for Life at your church
  7. Brush up on apologetics

Buckle Up, ladies and gentlemen! Hang on to your valuables. The Post-Roe Ride is ready for ignition.

Pray at abortion facilities; Pray at Home

Every hour going forward has at least one person praying to end abortion at the two downtown vigil sites. These people are also praying for the few people going down to be present, praying for the women and babies as well as for the conversion of the workers.

Now we are looking for people to be the 2nd and third prayer warriors from home at those hours see below and pick your hours…

1. I just got off the phone and conference call with an abortion pill reversal patient from the Allentown area. She has an 8-month baby and was concerned that she wouldn’t be able to handle another pregnancy with severe nausea and vomiting. Her boyfriend is the same father and he was not happy about the abortion, he is happy that she is trying to reverse. Please pray for this patient and if any of you are willing to be on her support team or know of anyone in that area (Allentown) to help with a baby shower and to address any needs she may have… let me know.
2. on Monday and Tuesday we are trying to inundate senators offices with quick 2-5 minute calls stating that we don’t want telemedicine abortions included in the tele-med bill. Senators say they hear from the pro-abortion side much more frequently than they hear from us… so LET’S BE HEARD!!! There is a signup genius through the pro-life union of Greater Philadelphia – the goal is to have 5 people scheduled to call every 20 min while offices are open… want to flood their lines.

ADORABLE: Video of Big Brother Singing to Baby Brother with Down Syndrome Goes Viral

People with Down syndrome are living longer, healthier, more independent lives than ever before, and virtually all of them report being happy with themselves and their lives.

Down Syndrome Baby with Big Brother

Below is an extraordinary story about a special family and the  love between a brother and his newborn sibling.  It was posted in Life Action News by Cassy Fiano-Chesser.

The sweet bond of two brothers was on full display in a video that’s gone viral on Facebook. In it, a loving big brother cradled his newborn brother, who has Down syndrome, and sang Dan + Shay’s “10,000 Hours” to him. It’s yet another poignant reminder that love doesn’t count chromosomes.

The boys’ mother, Nicole Powell, posted the video in December. “This is how Rayce bonds with Tripp,” she wrote on Facebook. “He sings to him all the time. He swear this song is about him and his brother. He’s singing, ‘I’d spend 10,000 hours, and 10,000 more if that’s what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours. I might never get there but I’m going to try if it’s 10,000 hours or the rest of my life, I’m going to love you.’ Love doesn’t count chromosomes, or as Rayce says, ‘Aren’t we all different?’”

In an interview with local news affiliate THV11, the Powells explained the difficult process of getting to the happy place they are now, with doctors saying Tripp would have a very poor quality of life. “They recommended we terminate the pregnancy, and I said absolutely not,” JJ Grieves, Tripp’s father, said. And he hopes that Rayce’s example will help other people learn to become more accepting. “He’s the same as the rest of us,” Grieves said. “He just takes a little longer to learn, a little more caring, a little bit more loving, but isn’t that what the world needs?”

Rayce isn’t the only sibling who is showing love to their baby brother. “When we first learned about our son Tripp’s Down Syndrome diagnosis while I was pregnant we told our oldest boys Jayce and Rayce about it,” Powell wrote on Facebook. “Later that night I checked Jayces snap chat because I saw he uploaded a photo and I saw this. On his own he googled Down syndrome and made his own ‘ribbon’. I was only 6 months pregnant at the time so of course the tears flew.

Then we had Tripp and told us, ‘I made him something during free time in class. I have it in my desk, I’ve been waiting until he was born to bring it to him.’ Again it was the same ribbon. So we knew we had to get him some stickers made for his bmx bike. I couldn’t have picked better big brothers for our sweet boy! (I know his big sisters will be just as amazing to him to!)”

UPDATE, 01/10/2020: After the video of Rayce singing to Tripp, his baby brother with Down syndrome, went viral, country music stars Dan + Shay responded. The duo, who recorded the song, took to social media to thank the Powell family — and give them a surprise of their own, too!

Teenager Makes Viral Response to Miley Cyrus with Message of Adoption

Adoption Cake

Photo courtesy of Hannah Rickords Facebook page

By now, many of us are outraged by the stunt pulled by pop and teen idol, Miley Cyrus.

Does she realize that she is part of the problem of how many people are being exposed to the promiscuity in our culture?

Recently, Hannah Rickords, a young woman in her late teens countered Miley’s Facebook sharing her adoption story.

Read below:

Miley,

You teamed up with Planned Parenthood to share a message…

Here’s mine.

20 years ago, my biological mother walked into her Planned Parenthood pregnant and not sure where else to go. Measuring over 20 weeks, she was told they could move forward with termination. When she explained she wasn’t there for that kind of procedure, it was explained to her that was all the only help she could receive there.

My birth mom wrote:

“All I wanted was help. For someone to see me for the terrified young woman I was. I wanted someone to hold my hand and tell me everything was going to be okay. I quickly learned that this was not the place for that kind of reassurance. The woman quietly, but firmly, said she was sorry she couldn’t help me.”

If that day she had chosen abortion as her plan, I would not be here today. Regardless of what argument you could have of when life truly begins, if that day in that Planned Parenthood, a young girl was swayed to terminate, I would not be here.

Miley, what about my healthcare? What about the millions of people that will never see the light of day because “abortion is healthcare?”

As an unborn child, there wasn’t much I could do to contribute to society, but now as a 20-year-old being, I have been able to touch the lives of hundreds through a conference I held and my original music.

I am grateful every single day that my birthmother chose another plan for me.

I am grateful every single day that an adoption is an option.

Take action by sharing her photo on her social media platforms today. Adoption Story
