OPEN LETTER TO PARISH PRIESTS: BE BOLD

A local pro-lifer has been a format that all pro-lifers are encouraged to send to their pastors. The time for passiveness is over. We need more heroic priests who are willing to preach the truth from the pulpit without sugarcoating it.

Thank you for your priesthood. I encourage you to read the article below and pray and act.

I realize the USCCB writes and emails those of us who subscribe to great material on pro-life with action items like prayer and more.

I ask you to do more. Please speak from the pulpit often against the atrocity of abortion. Please speak this not only during weekday daily mass but during all Sunday liturgy.

Are you aware that now somewhere in the state of New Mexico has a new satanic Temple with an abortion facility in it?

I will go as far as to say our current President of the USA who is obviously all for proclaiming the destruction of innocent human life in the womb is then a Satanist whether he realizes it or not. Furthermore, he proclaims to be a good and practicing Catholic. He needs to be denounced and informed he has excommunicated himself from the Church by his actions and words.

I am personal friends with and a ministry partner to Mark Houck and the Catholic Vote chapter leader of SWFL.

Your flock needs to hear from you on this. I ask you to reach out to Mark Houck to thank him. Mark is a hero. I ask you to speak publicly from the pulpit denouncing our current political administration’s weaponization in unjustly abusing great Catholic men and pro-life leaders like Mark Houck with intimidation tactics and more. Wasting taxpayer dollars for ridiculous arrests like this.

I ask you to proclaim from the pulpit that the Church has had enough and that abortion is a grave sin and to explain we now have more pregnancy centers of life rather than abortion centers of death and to find one if in need. I ask you to explain that if anyone has been involved in abortion to seek forgiveness in the sacrament of confession and healing in Rachel’s vineyard.

We need to hear all this often and publicly from priests and bishops.

The time has come and it’s now!

I pray for you daily and ask you please pray for me.

Please ask your congregations to no longer give any business to CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid and any pharmacy or organization that dispenses abortion pills or that supports abortion.

I have copied in my pro-life friends and asked you to write a similar message as this to all your clergy members.

BIASED ABORTION COVERAGE

The following is a Letter to the Editor written by Mike McGonagle

While we appreciate the occasional commentaries with a pro-life viewpoint, we express our strong objection to the consistently biased – and sometimes outright false – Inquirer news coverage of the “abortion issue.”

The principal difference in the “pro-life”/”pro-choice” debate is recognizing the scientific reality and alleged rights of the child in the womb. The Inquirer news coverage continues to ignore this reality by refusing to publish photos of children killed by abortion – or even photos of children in the womb. An excellent example remains the iconic photo of Samuel Armas’ “Hand of Hope”
extending from his mother’s womb during surgery at 21 weeks gestation.

We, in the pro-life movement, welcome the routine scrutiny that the Inquirer provides to a proposed law or a candidate regarding “exceptions,” such as unborn children with disabilities or whose lives began as a result of their father’s violent crime. However, your reporters fail to report on the lives of “hard cases,” such as Kathy Barnette, the former 2022 Republican candidate
for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania who was conceived in rape when her mom was 11. Equally biased, the Inquirer fails to provide hard case scrutiny of the extent of “pro-choice” laws or candidates, such as support for abortion in the ninth month of pregnancy, as John Fetterman has expressed in a recent CNN interview.

Another example is the Inquirer’s one-sided – and sometimes outright false – “medical reports” on how providing legal protection to children in the womb – or the availability of Catholic health care – will increase the risk of expectant mothers dying from the lack of treatment for miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.

Finally, the Inquirer describes abortion as “health care.” This description means that the child in the womb is a disease or a tumor, rather than a living human being with a right to life.

2022 Mid-Term Elections: What Is At Stake?

With two weeks until the midterm elections, we may be wondering what is really at stake. After seeing countless fear ads circulating while watching our shows, sporting events, and even the news, there is much at stake. Despite the ever-changing polls (which many are rigged or inaccurate), concerned citizens that are eligible to vote with a clear conscience can change the tide and stop Biden’s agenda from complete fruition.

2022 has proved to all of us that three things will hang in the balance on November 8th… Life, liberty, and family. Sadly, all three of them have been attacked.

When it comes to life, the first inalienable right for any born and unborn US citizen, it has taken a beaten. Despite the Dobbs v Jackson decision in June to send the abortion debate back to the states, pro-aborts launched their antagonizing summer of rage which saw hundreds of churches and pregnancy resource centers vandalized, fire-bombed, and disrupted.

There were even pro-lifers attacked while canvassing in many battleground states. Philly pro-lifers endured some of this like finding dog feces on the sidewalk outside of Philadelphia Women’s Center (Heather did it). Most recently happened prior to the rally and march led by Rev. Childress.

This is coming from the same people who preach “Love trumps hate”, “Hate has no place here”, and my personal favorite about immigrants being welcomed here except at Martha’s Vineyard (Now Karen’s vineyard) thanks to Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida.

Pro-lifers are not only being attacked by pro-aborts but they are being intimidated by our out-of-control government. Case in point, the FBI. If the events that have happened in the last month to pro-lifers in Tennessee, Minnesota, and in Pennsylvania do not wake up to how President Biden and his allies in the federal government are drunk on power, then what will? We will overcome these scare tactics.

Liberty is constantly attacked by left-wing politicians and their friends in the abortion industry. Thanks to poor catechism, Catholics who support abortion have gotten what they deserved. It all can change thankfully. Parents are speaking out against the gay and transgender agenda happening in public education. No question that it can be a factor in how people vote. Christians have been bombarded by attacks from progressives with woke ideologies, yet many are standing their ground. Disney, since its agenda was exposed earlier this year, has seen a drop in tourism and also lost its tax break (Get Woke! Go Broke).

The family is seeing the evil one attacking them like never before. Even the shepherd children who witnessed the apparitions of Fatima were told that the final battle will be fought over the family. We’re seeing it unfold before our eyes. The LGBTQ movement is stopping at nothing to disrupt traditional families while grooming minor children through drag queen shows, explicit entertainment, and other forms of perversions. This is another front that must be confronted.

With a mere fourteen days left, we all must rally to take back our God-given rights. Should Biden get his way, those freedoms God has given to us will be a generation away from extinction.

This is the fight for our lives. Are we ready to stand our ground or retreat in the midst of adverse fire from the enemy?

On November 8th vote in person for life, liberty, and family. Let us take back our freedoms in the Post-Roe society.

ELECTIONS IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS; MUCH IS AT STAKE

The November mid-term elections are close yet far away. pro-life voters have much to do to ensure pro-life and pro-liberty candidates emerge victorious on election night.

If the scary agenda from the Biden Administration does not concern voters, what will? Their plan was clear all along to promote abortion demand despite Roe’s defeat by the Supreme Court this past summer. The administration and its allies in congress are out of touch with the American people on all levels.

There are many promising candidates that can help ensure a red wave and control both houses which has happened throughout history depending on who occupies the White House. When it happens, Biden is a lame duck heading into a potential re-election bid, despite poor health and low poll numbers.

Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, the question looms on who will be Tom Wolf’s successor. Josh Shapiro has had ads left and right on television and even youtube. Doug, where are you? Do you not want to win the race?

Pennsylvania has held the blueprint in the pro-life debate, especially under the leadership of the late Bob Casey Sr who led the commonwealth in the 80s.

Pro-Life bills were passed on the state level, yet were vetoed or not enforced.

If voters can do something now, they can start by educating the community on the horrors of abortion, fetal development, and sharing the stories of those who walked away from the diabolical industry.

Pro-lifers, are you ready to step up your game? Take an active role in securing the pro-life majority now in Pennsylvania and Washington.

PHILLY COUPLE SUES MAYOR FOR FORCING TAXPAYERS TO FUND ABORTION

A few weeks ago Mayor Kinney, mayor of Philadelphia, announced that the city would be giving $500,000 to a fund to pay for abortions, abortion travel, and other abortion support services.

Chuck and Theresa Kuhar stood with the Thomas More Society and sued Mayor Kenney and the city

Post-Roe Turns One Month

It’s hard to believe that it has been one month since Dobbs v Jackson case was decided. Since the decision, nearly half the country have or will restrict abortion thanks to pro-life laws passed by state legislature.

Unfortunately, for many states controlled by pro-abortion leaders, the hard work and perseverance must be doubled. At the same time, those of us who live in states that have banned abortion should continue to be on the alert to ensure its state defends life at its earliest stage. No doubt this will be at stake in many senate, congressional, and gubernational races.

Take the first step today in doubling your efforts to defend life and end abortion. The issue is not settled in the state capitals, city halls, or even the legislative or executive branches. Instead, this can be settled in our homes, communities, and even on the public square when we change the hearts and minds of those who are directly or indirectly involved with the Culture of Death.

Never give up, persevere. The abortion lobby’s house of cards will soon fall.

We just witnessed the fall of Goliath thanks to Dobbs v Jackson. Now, we must chase after the Philistines and have them surrender.

Support PA Constitutional Amendment to Protect Life

The following is from Maria Gallagher in response to the passage of PA’s life amendment. She reminds us of the next steps to ensure PA is a pro-life state.

Dear Pro-Life Leaders,

The Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives have now passed the Constitutional Amendment which would bar taxpayer funding of abortion and would keep abortion out of the PA Constitution. The legislation ensures that the people, through their duly-elected representatives, would decide on abortion policy rather than the courts.

The Amendment was included in Senate Bill 106. To find out how your state Senator voted, click here (https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/RC/Public/rc_view_action2.cfm?sess_yr=2021&sess_ind=0&rc_body=S&rc_nbr=709 ).

If your state lawmakers voted for SB 106, please thank them.

The Amendment must pass the House and Senate again next session before the issue can be placed on the ballot for voters to decide. The next session begins in January. The legislation does not need to be signed by the Governor since it is a Constitutional Amendment.

Thank you so much for all you have done to support this important Constitutional Amendment!

WHY VOTERS IN PENNSYLVANIA SHOULD VOTE FOR SEAN GALE IN PRIMARY ELECTION

Tired of the inconsistency from the once thick pool of candidates looking to replace Pat Toomey and defeat either Fetterman or Lamb in the midterm election this November

Previously, this blog made a case to support Joe Gale for PA Governor. Now, as we shift from state race to the US Senate race, it is no coincidence that his brother, Sean has his eye on the US Senate.

With Pennsylvania being one of the important battleground states in any given election, the stakes are very high. All that is needed is the right man for the job. Sean is the one.

Like his brother, Sean wasted little time calling out his opponents on their inconsistency while also being a consistent voice for life. He is not your statu quo candidate. He is confident to get things done on the federal level while holding bi-partisan accountable for lack of action on all levels.

Sean is the pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty, and America first candidate needed at the federal level. He does have a tough hill to climb against the top contenders in Dr. Oz, Jeff Bartos, and Dave McCormick.

On May 17th, vote for Sean Gale for U.S. Senate and his brother Joe for Governor in the Republican primary.
