MARK HOUCK RETURNS TO THE SIDEWALK, PRO-LIFERS JOIN IN SOLIDARITY

After beating bogus charges from the FBI and Biden Administration Department of “Justice”, Mark Houck returned to the sidewalk of Planned Parenthood.

In addition to his son, his whole family joined him. Moreover, two dozen pro-lifers throughout the surrounding area and region joined him for witness and prayer.

It was a sense of calm yet one of awareness of what a peaceful presence can mean in the fight to build a culture of life.

Those gathered even prayed over Mark and his family as he returns to pro-life activism. He also intends to sue the FBI for violating his rights.

Lent 2023 40 Days for Life

Pro-lifers are asked to come out as we are approaching another Lenten campaign. All that it entails is peaceful, loving people willing to sacrifice two hours or more a week to help save lives, change hearts and minds, and just be present

FBI WEAPONIZED AGAINST PRO-LIFERS, NOT SUSPECTS IN SUMMER OF RAGE

The events in Pennsylvania and Minnesota show that Biden’s endgame is to use the FBI against a peaceful group of people.

Mark Houck of Bucks County, PA, and the sidewalk servants in St. Paul, MN were recently raided by the FBI over potential violations of the FACE Act. For Mark, he was willing to discuss the issue peacefully, yet the FBI raided his home on Friday. The scene can be described as something out of a TV drama show. His family has been shaken and the community has helped them cover court costs.

Recently, Brian Gibson shared the news of two sidewalk advocates in St. Paul, MN who were interrogated by the FBI on a similar incident to that of Mark.

Brian went on to say that he has never seen the FBI this interested in these incidents ever.

What is astonishing is the FBI, corrupted as it is, has not arrested radical pro-aborts involved with the summer of rage. The “summer of rage” saw a surge in vandalism, arson, and attacks on the Catholic Church and even pro-lifers. Yet, when it came down to investigating or making arrests, the FBI turned a blind eye when it came to the real terrorists.

Shame on them!

RECAP ON THE GOOD, BAD, AND UGLY IN PHILLY

The following is from an email blast sent by Dr. Monique Ruberu

Abortion is the evilest sin of all time. Ending the life of an innocent child, harming the mother and father in the process, ending the lifeline of people that were intended to come from that child – there is no good… the only chance of good comes from repentance, compassion, the love, the courage that we respond with through the grace of God alone.

When we are out there yes we will be persecuted, yes people will say unkind things to us, yes they may try to provoke us into responding with anger. We can choose to respond with pity, with prayer, with love.

In the midst of this persecution, there are beautiful moments… like today at 777 when a young African American young man who was biking food around the city stopped and watched for a long time with tear-filled eyes… after about 30 minutes I approached him… “you’ve been standing here a long time… are you ok? I know it’s a hard place to be…” he responded with tears in his eyes, “this is truly spiritual warfare”  Yes it is… but we know that God wins in the end. He got it…

Recently we have had a few incidents you may have heard about through the news or the grapevine.

STAND WITH MARK

This is the report I received from Pat: Months ago our awesome Mark Houck leader of the King’s Men was praying outside the abortion center with his child. The male escort (identified as Bruce Love) who often harasses many of us decided to pick on Mark and his child. Mark initially moved across the street and then moved back to the corner to pray. When he came back to the corner the escort started harassing Mark’s son again and Mark pushed him away. The escort dramatically fell to the ground feigned injury and called the police. Mark was at no time preventing women from entering 12th – this went on to a court proceeding which was then dropped because it was obvious that there was no intent to prevent people from entering and Bruce never appeared.

This morning swat teams showed up at Mark’s house shackled him at gunpoint and totally traumatized his family… he had a hearing and praise God on the feast of Padre Pio (yesterday) he was released by the hour of mercy.  Mark has been offered representation and many public figures are speaking up on the injustice of this… please pray for him, for his and his family’s safety, and for peace in his family.

Please contribute to the give-send-go organized for Mark and his fam. He is a missionary… there will be lawyers fees to pay in the near future and his family needs to be supported to help them heal…

A few days ago we had an instance where a girl stole the signs and box while two prayer warriors were present- she took everything into the planned parenthood courtyard and then she used a 6-inch military knife and started cutting up the signs. The prayer warriors called 911 and after 20 minutes they hadn’t responded so they made the right choice and left. Unfortunately, the girl continued to follow them and harass them.

Ultimately they split up and they managed to lose her.

These are probably the most aggressive instances we have had downtown… we can decide to stay at home and refuse to stand up for these innocent lives for fear of facing people like this or we can continue to stand firm for what is right. We can show up with love and with friends. We can pray and bring the strongest weapon – the rosary to defeat the devil at those gates. We can continue to offer love, prayer, and compassion to save lives.

Pat also shared this beautiful report with me…

Mom and dad came to pp last Jan and ran into pro-life warriors. They changed their minds and the little boy was born early Thursday morning. The stroller and crib were delivered and newborn diapers are on the way. This child is here because we were there.

40 days for life begins worldwide this Wednesday. Please join us out there to fill in the gaps and ensure we have a loving, peaceful, prayerful presence out there.

We definitely need help next Saturday at 12th and Locust all day from 8-1 pm

We are looking for individuals who can help with security out there as well if you have any leads please let us know.

Persecution and Praise Report

Dr. Monique Ruberu offers a reflection from this past weekend outside of both abortion facilities in Philadelphia.

This past Saturday once again we showed up and prayed outside of 777 and 12th. At 777 we covered the street and sidewalks with exorcised salt and anointed all the prayer warriors with exorcised oil…

Heather as usual showed up with her sage but we continued praying for them all.

I heard from another prayer warrior who said the following :

“A year ago, I stole an idea from a woman who participated with us Helpers a few times a few years ago.  I bring Holy Water with me and bless the space right in front of the gate at 12th/Locust: three Crosses for Father/Son/Holy Spirit.  The first time that I did it at 777 was this past Spring.  We’d gotten an early dismissal from work, so I went over there to pray.  The guard saw that and came out and smudged the entire area.  The same thing happened again this summer and I blessed the area again.  And the guard came out again.  Or rather, she PLANNED to do so.  I watched through the window as she tried .. and tried .. and tried .. and tried .. and tried to light the sage bundle ..  but it WOULDN’T take, it just wouldn’t stay lit.  Holy Water – 1; Sage Bundle – 0.” Thanks R!!!

At 12th there was a pro choice protest outside the Community Women’s Center. Our faithful prayer warriors continued the vigil outside of 12th and locust while they were there… these protests will come and go… even though they block the doors and act the fool the police may not even step in but God sees everything and He alone will make a way for us. We continue our work because we work for Him.

Blessings and Surprises

Monique Ruberu offered a reflection on her recent experience outside of the Philadelphia Women’s Center on August 27th.

Last Saturday our friends at 777 appletree took a lot of trouble to collect dog feces, transport it in a car and bring it to 777 where they graciously littered it over the sidewalk where we pray.

So what did we do? We swept it away and continued praying… and then I sprinkled exorcised blessed salt all over the entire street and both sidewalks including the entryway to the abortion center =) God always wins =)

When we continue to show up with love despite the persecution, despite the anger and upset, God continues to shine through us… Babies continue to have a glimmer of hope for survival.  Their precious lives are honored by someone. We can close our eyes knowing that we tried.

Pat sent me the message that a few days ago there was a turnaround at 12th and locust – Such a blessing!

Pray that our continued presence helps to turn the hearts and minds of these moms toward our sweet Jesus. May they feel His love and kindness.

PHILLY YOUTH MISSIONS WITNESSED OUTSIDE OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD ON GOOD FRIDAY; BROUGHT CHRIST TO POOR, MARGINALIZED, AND THOSE IN NEED

In its 10th year, Philly Youth Mission continued its annual Good Friday in Center City.

The morning began with a faithful witness outside of Planned Parenthood with 300 strong in attendance from all walks of life and different denominations.

Testimonies from Maria Liney and Monique Ruberu preceded the rosary.

Dr. Liney, a counselor by profession, shared how she was hesitant to take a group to pray outside of an abortion facility out of fear. However, after much prayer, she took the leap of faith and was instrumental in helping spread the message to women in their hour of great need.

Dr. Ruberu shared a recap on the recent success of the recent 40 Days campaign at both locations in Philadelphia. She even shared that two women, both of whom were pregnant weeks apart, came to her office to discuss keeping their babies. She closed to encourage those gathered to be present every day outside of the modern-day concentration camps in our communities and cities.

During the rosary, powerful meditations on the sorrowful mysteries were so poignant to the jeers, ridicule, and even mockery the faithful witnesses have endured, yet they kept the faith and no question prayed for everyone’s conversion.

After everyone gathered outside for an hour of prayer, the young missionaries, a majority from three Catholic High Schools in Philadelphia, broke off carrying heavy wooden cross (made of actual wood) around the city collecting prayer intentions.

After collecting intentions from passerbyers and those in need, they acted out the stations of the cross on the streets of Center City from Rittenhouse Square to the Basilica and everywhere in between.

Their witness gave the city a spark of hope and a gesture of love and mercy. Even Christ would have joined these young missionaries who are taking time out of their Easter break to bring the gospel and faith to the street.

Full Sidewalks in Center City

It was the Saturday before Christmas and the sidewalks of both abortion facilities saw a sidewalk full of peaceful, loving prayer warriors covering both denominations

Philadelphia Women’s Center

Regular vigil participants were graced with the [presence of 75 high school and college students from Philly Mission Youth who started their morning outside of the biggest murder center in Philadelphia that is not affiliate with Planned Parenthood.

They prayed the rosary, offered free help for women during their hour of great need, and sung some Christmas carols.

Meanwhile, the Helpers’ of God’s Precious Infants were able to be present outside of Planned Parenthood in Center City. They offered their vigil in memory of Sandy Slater and Kevin Andre, two pro-life activists who died this month.

The Helpers were graced by Sidewalk Servants and Abolish Abortion groups alike. They were met with some jeers and even escorts mocking pro-lifers, yet they kept the faith.

One sidewalk advocate from Abolish Abortion offered help to a couple that went inside the facility while another held a conversation with people who were curious at their presence.

Sadly, lives were scheduled to die at both places. We can only hope that the presence of these peaceful, loving people stir the conscience of patients, volunteers, and workers of both places that life in the womb has value and is worthy of protecting.

Five Turnarounds; One Definite Save To Kick Off December

The following is from an email blast sent by Dr. Monique Ruberu.

On Monday Tony encountered a lovely young mom who he brought over to the Philadelphia Community Women’s Center and she has confirmed that she is keeping her baby!!!

On Wednesday we had 2 girls go over to the Philadelphia Community Women’s center for help after the rally!!

On Friday Several of our prayer volunteers were present when a girl entered 777.  two women – one with a toddler arrived with an uber. The pregnant mom stated that she was too young to carry a baby,  but Tony and Alice were able to have a convincing conversation with the friend who had the courage to go into 777 and bring her friend out. Once out of there,  they were able to connect her to Pat who provided her with many numbers for support.  Her friend has pledged to continue walking with her,  and we are also willing to do so. At least for now that baby is saved,  please pray that the mom continues to choose life!!

Following that encounter,  a young girl drove up – Tony and Alice were able to speak with her as well,  and she drove away – please pray that she doesn’t return at another time!!!

Praise God that these amazing prayer warriors were present to intervene.

Philadelphia Women’s Center Attacks Christmas

777 appletree … one of the saddest places on earth where attacks against Jesus and everything He represents are real. Over 6000 babies are murdered every year here. Most of them are black… yet the BLM sign is displayed prominently.

Here is their front window… the top shelf is Saint dolls all holding signs that make fun of the pro-lifers that stand outside faithfully.

The second shelf they have taken the manger .. hung up a pro-choice banner within it, hung condoms from the statues of the three wise men..

Please pray for a conversion of hearts here, especially Heather Loesch, the security guard who has fallen away from the faith and has belittled many pro-life men and women alike with her vulgarity and ignorance

When loving, kind, compassionate prayer warriors come together outside this place lives are saved.

Please join us for 40daysforlife 365 outside both of the downtown Philly abortion centers.
