“When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.“
Let us Pray
On this the last day of our 40 Days of Prayer and Scripture to End Abortion, let us reflect on the perfect love between Jesus and his mother, Mary. Only the two of them knew the deepest of mother/child bonds from The Annunciation all the way through to the Way of the Cross. And when Jesus had barely a breath left in him, he directed that his mother would be taken care of after his death. And in doing say actually professed he was giving her to all of us. Father, let the world again know the most perfect of loves between all mothers and their children in the womb.
We hope these devotionals offered you time to reflect on abortion from many aspects. Let us all resolve to take time and routinely do what we can to turn the tide against sacrificing these little lives in the womb. If we all take a step each day, we can complete the path to #EndAbortion.
