Pro-life Student Exposes University Professor for Teaching Fake Science About Pre-born Babies

Yes, this photo is real.

On April 25th, a pro-life student at the University of California – San Diego took this picture of her professor’s presentation in an advanced biology class titled, Biology of Disease. She sent the picture to her friend, an MD candidate at Stanford, who posted the picture on Twitter where it went viral.

This professor used a legitimate and important area of cancer research as an opportunity to compare a fetus to a cancerous tumor and inject the unscientific (and dangerous) claim that pre-born babies are parasites. Rhetoric like this has been used throughout history by people in power to dehumanize and oppress those who are inconvenient, unwanted, and imperfect by society’s standards. The false claim that pre-born babies are parasites has been increasing among abortion advocates. Is it any wonder why?
