Many states are pushing assisted suicide. And of course we know that once these laws pass the next step is pushing for euthanasia. Assisted suicide is when a person makes the decision to end their own life. Euthanasia is when the doctor or someone else makes that decision. Both are morally wrong. This is just a gentle reminder to call your state Senator and urge him or her to oppose Senator Daylin Leach’s bill which would legalize assisted suicide in Pennsylvania. If you don’t know who your state Senator is, or you need contact information, please use this link.
We know the pro-assisted suicide group, Compassion & Choices, is working with Senator Leach to try to pass this bill. We expect the bill to be introduced in the next few weeks (We do not have a bill number yet). Let’s defeat this bill before it is even introduced!
